An FA Charter Community Club
Berkhamsted Raiders Community Football Club is the only FA Charter Community Standard Club in the Dacorum District. In 2010/11, we will be running 40 teams, starting with the Under 7's and going all the way through to the adult team and including six girls teams. Around 500 children play football at Raiders! In 2008, Berkhamsted Raiders was awarded Sports Club of the Year in the Dacorum Excellence Awards. In 2009, Berkhamsted Raiders CFC was awarded:
- Herts FA Charter Standard Community Club of The Year
- FA Eastern Region Community Club of The Year
And in 2010, Berkhamsted Raiders CFC was again awarded:
- Herts FA Charter Standard Community Club of The Year
As a club we encourage all parents to support good play, and sportsmanship, irrespective of which team is playing and we praise effort and performance more than results. As an FA Charter Community Club, we operate to the highest standards set by the FA for youth football clubs. We take the Standard very seriously, and all players, managers, coaches and spectators are expected to adhere to our codes of conduct.We are based at the Berkhamsted Sports and Social Club, Kitcheners Field, Castle Hill, Berkhamsted. Matches are normally played on Saturdays (girls) and Sundays (mixed, boys and seniors) between September and March. Each team trains once per week.

Players wanted for Raiders U18s
Berkhamsted Raiders U18 White team for next season are looking for some new players. The team will be playing in the Watford Friendly League, probably in the Green (4th ) Division. Home matches will be played at Ashlyns School with our training night on a Tuesday, and from October this year the training will be on the new 3G Berko Astro located also at Ashlyns School. BerkoAstro project
Berkhamsted Raiders Community Football Club and Ashlyns School have joined forces to form a joint project team to provide Berkhamsted with a full-sized floodlit all-weather pitch and changing pavilion - The BerkoAstro Project.
GREAT NEWS....we have been awarded £300,000 by the Football Foundation to help fund the 3G pitch and floodlights. read the news story.
