An FA Charter Community Club
Berkhamsted Raiders Community Football Club is the only FA Charter Community Standard Club in the Dacorum District. This year we will be running 38 teams, starting with the Under 7's and going all the way through to the adult team and including six girls teams. Around 450 children play football at Raiders! In 2008, Berkhamsted Raiders was awarded Sports Club of the Year in the Dacorum Excellence Awards. In 2009, Berkhamsted Raiders CFC was awarded:
- Herts FA Charter Standard Community Club of The Year
- FA Eastern Region Community Club of The Year
As a club we encourage all parents to support good play, and sportsmanship, irrespective of which team is playing and we praise effort and performance more than results. As an FA Charter Community Club, we operate to the highest standards set by the FA for youth football clubs. We take the Standard very seriously, and all players, managers, coaches and spectators are expected to adhere to our codes of conduct.We are based at the Berkhamsted Sports and Social Club, Kitcheners Field, Castle Hill, Berkhamsted. Matches are normally played on Saturdays (girls) and Sundays (mixed, boys and seniors) between September and March. Each team trains once per week.

Raiders wins FA Eastern Region Community Club of the Year
Another success for Raiders and a fantastic achievement by the club. The Club received the FA Eastern Region Community Club of the Year at half time at the recent Watford v Scunthorpe game attended by over 200 Raiders members and parents.
The award was presented by Ken Headington from Herts FA.
Ken was full of praise for the club, "Berkhamsted Raiders have done fantastically well since achieving their Community status. They are always keen to get involved in all aspects of the work we do here and have won awards not only for the club but also for individuals at our County Awards through Oli Meacher and Paul Russell to round off a great season and it's good to see them getting wider recognition for their work".

Berkhamsted Raiders Community Football Club and Ashlyns School have joined forces to form a joint project team to provide Berkhamsted with a full-sized floodlit all-weather pitch and changing pavilion - The BerkoAstro Project.
