Code of Conduct - Senior Players
Our players are the most important part of this football club, without them there would be no football club.
In order for our club to run professionally and in line with the Football Association it is necessary to establish codes of conduct for all members of our football club.
The codes of conduct for the BRFC senior players are outlined below.
All senior players are expected to adhere to these codes at all times.
1)
All players are expected to show due respect towards own team members, officials, coaches and anyone associated with Berkhamsted Raiders Football Club.
2)
All players are expected to show due respect towards match officials before, during and after each match.
3)
All players are expected to show due respect towards the players, team officials and spectators of all opposition.
4)
All players are expected to provide notification of any absence from either training or match days at least two days in advance where possible.
5)
All players are expected to arrive on time or before the arranged time for both training and match days.
6)
All players are expected to arrive in the BRFC training jacket for both training and match days.
7)
All players are expected to arrive with the appropriate kit for both match days and training.
8)
All kit (including boots) is expected to be clean on match days.
9)
Smoking is prohibited from the start of match days and training sessions until their termination.
10)
Only in exceptional circumstances should players use mobile telephones from the start of match days until their termination or during training sessions.
11)
Where possible, all players are expected to attend the BRFC clubhouse (Berkhamsted Sports & Social Club) after matches and where applicable training.
12)
All players are asked to attend all team outings.
13)
All players are expected to adhere to the club's anti-discrimination policy. This means that players will not discriminate or in any way treat anyone less favourably, on grounds of sex, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or disability.
14)
The Club will not tolerate sexual or racially based harassment or other discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal, and will work to ensure that such behaviour is met with appropriate action in whatever context it occurs.
15)
As members of BRFC Senior Team all players are expected to set a positive example to junior members of the club and contribute to the development of the football club.
16)
Failure to adhere to the Code will be dealt with by the Disciplinary Committee.
Any action that is deemed to bring the club into disrepute will be dealt with severely.
