We are looking for new players now for all age groups for season 2009-10.
Under 7 and Under 8 teams: Boys and girls
Our under 7,and 8 teams comprise both boys and girls, who play 7 a-side mini soccer matches of 40 minutes duration most Sunday mornings on the superb pitches at Kitcheners Fields, Castle Hill. We participate in well organized leagues run by either the Watford Friendly League or West Herts League. Training is normally weekly on Saturday mornings at the Clubs Coaching Centre at Ashlyns School. Unfortunately we are now fully subscribed for our U7 and U8 match teams for this season, despite adding two extra sides! What we can do though is put your son on a waiting list, and he is welcome to join the club as a “training member”, in the interim. This means he can train with the squad on a Saturday although will not be eligible to play matches on a Sunday until a place becomes available. U7 training takes place from 10:15 – 11:15 at Greenway School. U7 training is run by “Ross & Andy Soccer Camps” ,and fees are payable directly to them (A £50 training member fee applies to U8’s - see below) U8 training Sessions are conducted by BRCFC and Watford FC coaches at Ashlyns School, Chesham Road at on Saturday mornings 11:00 – 12:00. The club coaching policy is to use 4x4 drills and cover a number of skills areas. There will be no training on half-term Saturdays unless we decide to run our own team session; this also applies over the Christmas and Easter school holidays.
